all the things i ship ★ monica geller and chandler bing

i thought this was going to be the most difficult thing i ever gonna had to do. but when i saw you walking down that aisle i realized how simple it was. i love you. any surprises that come our way it’s okay, because i will always love you. you are the person i was meant to spend the rest of my life with.

"Paul and Joanne seemed to be in love. Anyone who was around them could tell that they were crazy about each other- and I was around them a lot.

I tell you, it was beautiful to watch them together. They couldn’t keep their eyes off each other -and such beautiful eyes they both had, hers green and slanted like a cat’s and his blue like the sky or the sea. And they couldn’t keep from touching each other. It was hand-holding and face stroking and hugging. But it was earthy, to, like him giving her a little squeeze here and a little slap there.

They didn’t flaunt it - they just felt it.”

- A friend, from Susan Netter’s biography of Woodward & Newman, published in 1989.

I am tired of seeing “(platonic) love.”

Most of the world’s love is nonromantic. How many people do you love? How many people love you? Now how much of that love has anything to do with dating or marriage?

We create these wonderful, cherished networks of love — with family, with friends, with communities. And then we kick them into the dirt. We trivialize them every time we imply that love is what happens at a wedding and everything else needs a qualifier.

Shed the qualifier. Make romantic love the exception. Think about the love you experience every day for so many of the people around you, and center it. Take back the word love.

I look up to laverne cox so hard

Welp tears

I always love re-blogging Laverne Cox. Not only because of her eloquence, intelligence, kindness, and beauty, but also because her voice might be one of the most important in the fight against hatred in the U.S.A. today. What she has to say is crucial to the growth, peace, prosperity, and freedom of all of us. If you have the time, please watch this video.

everyone needs to take seven minutes and watch this.

Wow

Where has this woman been all my life?  I am grateful to God that she finally has a microphone and platform for her voice.

So there’s this thing called ‘love’…

strawberrypatty:

… And, in fandom, everyone seems to jump right towards Eros, passionate love with sensual desire.

But there’s also Storge, familial love.

There’s Philia, the love of a friend.

And Agape, unconditional, self-sacrificing love.

Sometimes, I think we limit ourselves.

Some of the URLs on this site are truly inspired.
