Finally finished a fic, its my OTP though not my Elie Saab dress fic.  Still, I’m getting so close to 1200 and continue getting joy out of Erin Strauss, David Rossi, and all the other wonderful characters.

I am so  excited and happy to announce my brand new series to Blackbride.com this month. The Real Love + Life Series created and curated by C.K. Alexander, is a celebration of the three most important moments in anyone’s life- The moment you fall in love, the moment you commit your heart and life to one person and the moment you bring a new life into this world. The Real Love + Life Series aims to highlight these three stages, while promoting positive imagery and sharing inspirational love stories of real couples and their journey to creating their version of happily ever after. Check out our first Real Love + Life couple Hawzien and Keith, with amazing photos captured by From the Hip Photo!

Three fabulous Black ballerinas, Ashley Murphy, Ebony Williams and Misty Copeland are on the cover of Pointe for June/July 2014. Stunning cover. They’re so beautiful. I’ve never bought a ballet magazine but I want a copy of this to read their story and to keep. ❤
Oh and their brown pointe shoes. IMPORTANT.

“But, as I’ve said in many interviews, The Phantom of the Opera has been on Broadway for 21 years. There’s been a black Phantom—Robert Guillaume played it in Los Angeles—but there’s never been a black Phantom on Broadway. I know there are people who can play that role. I know people who can sing that role. I can sing that role. It’s interesting. Or just frustrating.”
Norm Lewis

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS.

He is fine goddamn

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS

HE IS MY FAVORITE JAVERT

The role is most often sung by a tenor or high baritone (although the range is perfectly fine for lower voices); it’ll be really cool to hear it with a deep voice like Lewis’! He’s completely capable of dealing with the higher reaches, but there’s a lot of potential for stuff that usually goes unheard to come out now.
